Katherine Parker Counseling is a Colorado-based therapy practice supporting children, teens, young adults, and their families. For this project, the goal was to create a website that felt warm, welcoming, and approachable while still communicating the professionalism and trust that are so important when choosing a therapist.
The design uses a soft, inviting color palette, playful-yet-refined typography, thoughtful imagery, and organic details to create a space that feels calming without feeling overly clinical. Because Katherine works primarily with younger clients, it was important that the brand feel youthful and friendly while still resonating with the parents who are often searching for care on their behalf.
The site was also designed to make what can feel like an overwhelming process as simple as possible. Dedicated pages clearly outline Katherine’s services, therapeutic approach, specialties, individual and parent sessions, insurance and self-pay information, and group therapy offerings. Testimonials are woven throughout the experience to build trust and give prospective clients a better sense of what it feels like to work with Katherine.
Clear calls to action lead visitors toward a free consultation, while easy access to the client portal gives existing clients a straightforward path back into the site.
