Case Study: Building Trust Online for Lindsay Wojciechowski, FNP
Functional and integrative medicine asks patients to trust a practitioner with the most complicated, often dismissed parts of their health story. For Lindsay Wojciechowski — a family nurse practitioner in Park City, Utah, specializing in root-cause care, hormone therapy, and complex conditions like PANS/PANDAS — the website needed to do something a lot of medical sites don’t: earn that trust before a patient ever picks up the phone.
The Brief
Lindsay’s approach is different from conventional care. She spends real time digging into the “why” behind a patient’s symptoms instead of just managing them, and she needed a site that communicated that difference immediately — credible enough for a clinical audience, warm enough for someone who’s felt dismissed by the medical system before, and clear enough to turn a visitor into a booked appointment.
The Design
We grounded the whole site in a warm, earthy palette — sage green, oat, and soft taupe — paired with crisp cream backgrounds. It reads as calm and grounded rather than clinical-white or overly medical, while still feeling professional. A refined serif carries the headlines, giving the practice an editorial, established feel, while clean sans-serif body copy keeps the dense health information easy to actually read.
The homepage opens on a full-bleed photo of golden grass in soft light instead of a stock photo of a stethoscope — setting a tone of nature-based healing before a single word of copy loads. From there, the page moves through a deliberate sequence: the promise of a different kind of care, a direct list of the symptoms and struggles patients relate to (“persistent fatigue, brain fog, or inflammation despite ‘normal’ labs”), Lindsay’s own philosophy, and finally the specific conditions she treats — HRT, PANS/PANDAS, and a full list of conditions — each presented as its own card so a visitor can quickly find themselves in the content.
Real patient language does a lot of the persuasive work. A testimonial is pulled out full-width on a solid sage-green field, given room to breathe rather than shrunk into a sidebar quote box. On the About page, a framed portrait sits inside a warm putty-toned block beside Lindsay’s story — her path from trauma nursing to functional medicine, including the personal experience with her son that shaped her focus on neuroinflammation — building credibility through narrative rather than a dry list of credentials.
Every section keeps a clear next step close at hand. “Book an Appointment,” “Get Started,” and “Order Supplements” appear as calm, low-contrast buttons in the same earthy tones as the rest of the palette, so the calls to action feel like a natural next step rather than a hard sell — appropriate for patients who are often anxious or overwhelmed when they arrive.
The Result
The finished site positions Lindsay as exactly what she is: a highly trained clinician who takes the time conventional medicine often doesn’t. It builds trust in layers — tone, imagery, patient language, personal story, and clear service pages — so that by the time someone reaches the booking link, they already feel understood. For a practice built on listening carefully and connecting the dots, the site does the same thing before the first appointment even starts.
