About Katie
Katie earned her degree in Furnishings & Interiors from the University of Georgia and has spent over 14 years honing her craft alongside top industry professionals, with residential projects spanning Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and New York. She’s NCIDQ certified, a professional member of ASID, and her work has been featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and Modern Luxury. Needless to say, her online presence needed to match the caliber of her work.
The Brief
Katie’s design philosophy is all about refined, tailored interiors that reflect each client’s personal style and lifestyle — so her website needed to feel just as considered and elevated as the spaces she creates. The goal was a clean, editorial digital home that puts her portfolio front and center, builds instant credibility, and makes it effortless for potential clients to reach out.
The Design
We kept the site simple, elegant, and image-led. This lets Katie’s interiors do the talking. A soft, neutral palette and clean typography give the whole experience a quiet, luxury feel, while a clear navigation structure (Home, Interiors, About, Contact) keeps the user journey intuitive. Full-bleed photography on the homepage immediately immerses visitors in her aesthetic, and the About page pairs a warm, personal introduction with her credentials and press features which builds trust right away.
Every design choice was made to get out of the way of the work itself: minimal clutter, generous white space, and a layout that lets each room and vignette breathe.
The Result
The finished site gives Katie a polished, professional home base that finally feels as elevated as her portfolio—one that reflects her expertise, showcases her project work beautifully, and makes it simple for new clients to reach out and start a project.
